About
new chapter.

New Chapter exists to support the people who are making change real.
We are a consultancy—and a collective—rooted in the art, science, and soul of transformation.
Founded by Ola Lagunju, New Chapter was born from the desire to do change differently. More human. More honest. More whole.
We work with individuals, organisations, and communities who are ready to lead with presence, not performance.
To hold the complexity. To ask better questions. To grow leadership that feels real, responsive, and rooted in who they truly are.
This work is personal. It’s relational. It’s systemic.
And we believe change must move through all three.

We believe that change doesn’t start with strategies—it starts with how we show up.
With how we relate. With what we’re willing to see, feel, and imagine together.
We are:
Enquiry-led
We start with curiosity, not assumptions
Wholehearted
We bring our full selves to the work: messy, real, and all-in
Hopeful by choice
Even in complexity, we believe better is possible
In service
We stand for justice, inclusivity, and the human spirit
Courageously honest
We name what’s hard, and stay with it long enough for something new to emerge
Our work is grounded in a simple rhythm of change:
Ignite awareness
→
Expand capability
→
Amplify impact

That rhythm runs through everything we offer—from thought partnership to team development to community work.
It’s not linear. It loops and spirals, just like growth does. But it helps us—and our clients—stay aligned with what matters most.
We’re not here to impose answers.
We’re here to make space—for the real work, the right questions, and the leadership that’s waiting to emerge.

We are not a traditional team. We are a collective of changemakers.
New Chapter is led and held by Ola, but powered by a growing network of collaborators—coaches, facilitators, consultants, artists, and systems thinkers—who come together around the work that calls to them.
We’re not all alike. But we’re all aligned in spirit:
Curious. Brave. Generous. And committed to reshaping how we do change.
We come from different countries, cultures, disciplines, and lived experiences.
Some of us are edge-walkers. Others are bridge-builders.
All of us believe in collective action, creative thinking, and making space for something new to become possible.
Together, we form a kind of living system—flexible, values-aligned, and shaped by the work itself.
No fixed hierarchy. No extractive approach. Just a shared intention: to serve people and systems with compassion, creativity, and integrity.
We’re not here to lead the change for you.
We’re here to walk with you as you lead it.
Freedom in thought, action, and leadership.
To release what holds us back and move toward what frees us—and others.
Liberation means stepping into our fullest selves while creating systems where equity, dignity, and inclusion are not negotiable, but essential.
Leading with questions, not certainty.
Staying open to new truths, multiple perspectives, and the discomfort of not knowing.
Curiosity keeps us humble—and helps us find what we weren’t even looking for.
Letting things breathe.
Bringing a spirit of creativity, play, and wonder into even the most serious work.
Lightness invites surprise, renewal, and the possibility of a different way.
The courage to be bold, brave, and different.
To challenge norms, sit with discomfort, and speak truth—especially when it’s hard.
Audacity is what moves us from waiting to acting.
Meeting ourselves and others with compassion.
Grace lets us grow from our mistakes and stay human in our leadership.
It makes space for imperfection—and for beauty in the becoming.
Faith in the process, in people, and in what wants to emerge.
Trust lets us move through uncertainty without rushing, knowing we don’t walk alone.
It’s the soil where collaboration, courage, and creativity take root.

“I started New Chapter because I believe change leadership can be different—more soulful, more honest, more alive.
We don’t need heroes. We need real people doing brave work, together.”
I always say… it’s okay for it to be messy. It’s okay not to have all the answers.
Real change doesn’t follow a script—it unfolds in real time, in real lives, in the tension between what is and what could be.
This is work that has to be done in community. It has to be rooted in reality, and guided by a vision for something more just, more human, more possible.
I believe change happens in chapters. Just like a book—never fully written, always in motion. Each chapter shaped by who we are, what we’re facing, and how willing we are to be seen—and to see one another.
This is my calling. But it’s not mine alone.
I’m holding the space—but we’re building it together.
A place that honours the truth of the moment and the hope of what’s to come.
A movement grounded in relationship and fuelled by purpose.
We’re writing this as we go. I see you.
